Why should authors and poets have all the fun?
No, advertising isn't writing the great American novel. But it doesn't have to be boring, either. And yes, while a CEO wants to hear something different than a 40-year old mother of two, they both want to hear something that makes them feel. That they can relate to. That inspires them. To act. To dream. To achieve. It all comes down to making a company, a brand or a product tell a story. And I'm the person to do it.
My industry experience? It goes from technology to travel, with stops at healthcare, hospitality, higher-ed, energy, financial, non-profit and more. B2B and B2C? I know the not-so-subtle differences and do both equally well. The kind of work I do? You name it, I've done it. Broadcast, print, radio, outdoor, digital, events, direct marketing, social, SEO ... I'm still waiting on my first skywriting opportunity, but it's out there. I'm sure of it.
